Jünger Audio's solution for Satellite applications

Re-Broadcasters, (Cable, Satellite, IPTV, etc.) experience the same trouble when it comes to handling audio contents:
As they Receive and Broadcast a lot of different channels, they are often held responsible by the viewers for the sometimes heavily varying loudness existing between the proposed programmes.

Having no control over the production of these contents, Re-Broadcasters are being blamed for something they didn’t provoke but which can cost them viewers or even worse customers; as nowadays the heavy existing competition offers plenty of choice for subscribers to select the way they want to receive their programmes.

Therefore Loudness issues become paramount and require handling before transmission.

LEVEL MAGIC by Jünger Audio is the appropriate tool for you!

It handles automatically the varying levels and allows Re-Broadcasters to offer automatically harmonized loudness forprogramme bouquets.

The unique C8000 frame based structure and the multiple format boards existing provide solutions for all channels in stereo or surround sound. Full security offered through the robust frame structure, power supply redundancy, by-pass functions of the individual I/O boards and different switch over DSPs guarantee safe operation and broadcast continuity.

The latest LEVEL MAGIC II suite follows today’s standards and therefore is compliant to ITU BS 1770-2 / EBU R128 / ATSC 85.

Our solution is also capable of handling Dolby 5.1 D or E decoding and D/D+ or E encoding with managment of the related metadata in various ways (processing follows Metadata or on the contrary generates new ones). Furthermore it can easily be integrated into an SNMP Monitoring chain, and generate the required control information.

A special Combo boards programme (C8491)even allows to manage big quantities of channels at very attractive prices and great comfort of use, maximizing the frame’s usage and efficiency.
